No lens better then viltrox 75 mm , superb. sharpness, Contreras, color rendition, very low chromatic aberration, I waited 5 years ,looking for Leica 75 mm but tooo Expensive $10,000 + I cannot afford it , finally viltrox did it very good achievement - gold medal.award winning . Fuji 90 mm only f/2 , samyang 75 mm only f/1.8 , voigtlander 75 mm f/1.5 , Canon 85 mm f/2 only . Viltrox is F/1.2. F -stop are 1.2 very important for me very sharp even wide open aperture, which lens are better then 75 mm viltrox , sigma 85 mm or Nikon 85 mm -$1200 two or three times more price pay , Fuji camera owners must have this 75 mm viltrox , thanks Viltrox company .
I absolutely love this lens.It is tack sharp with beautiful bokeh.Extremely fast autofocus (after the latest firmware update) and accurate eye af.All in all, this has become my go to portrait lens.
A fantastic value and performer of a lens, particularly when compared to what something similar would cost in any other mount. Feels well-built. The aperture ring is more smooth than clicky.Incredible ability to isolate anything, as it should be. No image flaws that stand out on Fuji 40mp sensor. My only request for improvement would be for closer focus distance. Focus ability has been improved with firmware (shortly after it was released). It certainly feels faster than the native Fuji 56mm mk1 (I have not tried the mk2 as of this writing) that many may compare it to.
This lens performs well above its price point. The auto-focus works great. The bokeh is creamy. I don't notice chromatic aberrations or any distortion.I did a portrait session at a Tulip Farm, and this lens performed perfectly for the situation.Optically, the lens feels close to perfection. My one complaint would be the auto focus motor isn't as snappy as I'd like. Fix that, and I'd gladly pay more. Without the fix, this lens is still a bargain. I'd recommend this to my friends. If you're fine with the extra reach, I think this lens performs better than Fuji's 56mm f1.2 (another optically great lens).
