Godox has released the V1mid, an on-camera flash with a circular flash head. This latest flash belongs to the V1 series and is designed to provide a relatively affordable option for photographers who need more performance than entry-level flashes but also want a compact flash unit.
The Godox V1mid is available for purchase today for $179 in versions for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus/Panasonic and Sony.
The Godox V1mid is smaller than the V1 and V1Pro, making it a more compact and lighter option for photographers on the go. It weighs 413g (14.6oz), compared to the V1's 530g (18.7oz) weight.V1 mid delivers a fast 1.7s recycle time and up to 650 full-power flashes on a single charge.
The V1mid supports TTL, manual and multi-modes. It is also compatible with high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec, or 1/80000 sec with Sony cameras with global shutters.
V1 mid’s battery supports USB Type-C charging, offering flexible power options on set or on the go. 
V1 mid is fully compatible with the AK-R1 Round Head Accessory Kit, enabling fast light shaping for portraits, events, and creative shoots.
Like the existing V1 models, some features of the V1mid are camera-dependent.
