Das Objektiv ist für den wirklich günstigen Preis sehr gut verarbeitet. Die Abbildungsleistung ist ebenfalls völlig in Ordnung. Ich nutze sie an einer Sony Fx30 und kann absolut nichts beanstanden.

Nach meinem Systemwechsel auf MFT, sollte auch der wichtige Brennweitenbereich von 12 mm als Festbrennweite ersetzt werden. Nach einem Reinfall mit dem Pergear 12 mm f2.0 habe ich mich für das Exemplar der Marke 7Artisans entschieden. Es stammt aus Shenzhen, dem chinesischen „Silicon Valley“.Soeben hat das Unternehmen die Version II herausgebracht, an der Spuren einer blütenförmigen Streulichtblende völlig fehlen. Stattdessen scheint sie trichterförmig integriert zu sein. Der vordere Rand überragt die Vorwölbung des Frontlinse aber nur um 1 - 2 mm und weist ein Filtergewinde von 67 mm auf. Das spärliche Manual in Chinesisch und Englisch gibt keinen Hinweis zum geeigneten Streulichtschutz. Auf der schönen Außenverpackung ist das Linsenschema dargestellt. Demnach werkeln 14 Linsen im Objektiv, davon 2 aus „Ultra-Low-Dispersion Glass“.Das Objektiv ist schön, liegt schwer und kühl in der Hand und scheint überwiegend aus Glas und Metall zu bestehen. Der Bajonettbereich ist nicht verchromt; er scheint eine moderne Brünierung erfahren zu haben. Der breite Entfernungsring ist glatt und gut gedämpft. Der schmale, kameranahe Blendenring ist klickfrei und stärker gedämpft. Man gewöhnt sich schnell daran und genießt den Vorteil, dass sich der Blendenwert nicht so leicht unbeabsichtigt verstellt.An der Kamera (hier eine Lumix GX*) lässt sich das Objektiv gut ausbalancieren. Die Handhabung ist angenehm.Ich bin weder Pixel-Peeper noch test-abhängig. Die Kaufentscheidung war nach Konsum weniger YT-Informationen gefallen, schließlich ging es um den Erwerb eines preiswerten, zuverlässigen Objektivs, das keine schweren Mängel aufweist. Der koreanische Mitbewerber SAMYANG ist inzwischen so etabliert, dass die Preise angezogen haben. Die Lichtstärke von f2.8 ist ausreichend. Die verfügbaren modernen Fokussierhilfen (Peaking/Lupe/kamerainterne Bildstabilisierung) machen größere Offenblenden entbehrlich. Zudem nutzt der MFT-Sensor nicht den gesamten Bildkreis, den das Objektiv ins Innere der Kamera wirft. Damit sind die problematischsten Zonen jedes Objektivs, nämlich die Ecken und Ränder, ausgeblendet! Dieser Vorteil gleicht den vermeintlichen Nachteil des kleineren MFT-Sensors mehr als aus!Zu den Vorgedanken gehört auch die Erkenntnis, dass aus der 12-mm-Brennweite des Weitwinkelobjektivs am MFT-Sensor effektiv nur äquivalente 24 mm werden. Damit sind wir im leichten Weitwinkelbereich und können das Objektiv in der MFT-Fotografie fast wie ein „Normalobjektiv“ verwenden. 25 (äquiv. 50) mm bzw. 40 (äquiv. 80) mm können in vielen Situationen schon „zu lang“ werden.Nun zur Praxis: Die Fotos sind knackscharf bis in die Ecken. Weitwinkeltypische Verzerrungen sind mild, keine ungewöhnlichen Verfärbungen. Sogar Bokehs sind bei Blende 2.8 erzielbar. Der Bildcharakter ist angenehm. Die tonnenförmige Verzerrung und die chromatischen Aberrationen halten sich in vertretbaren Grenzen. Bei 14(!) Linsen war das auch zu erwarten. Gut gemacht, 7Artisans!Erwähnt werden muss die hochgradige Empfindlichkeit schon gegen Seitenlicht: Auf dem Display oder im Sucher sind die Flairs und Kontrastminderungen gut zu erkennen. Dafür fallen ohne aufgeschraubte Filter keine lästigen Vignettierungen auf.Die Ultra-LD-Frontlinse kommt mir ohne eine separate Streulichtblende oder ein Filter recht ungeschützt vor. Andere Kritikpunkte kann ich aktuell nicht anführen. Alles andere ist eine Frage der Zeit. (Mein preiswertes Pergear 12 mm f2.0 erfreute das Fotografenherz in ähnlicher Weise, bis die Chromschicht im Bajonettbereich unaufhaltsam abblätterte und sich die Flocken auf dem Sensor und an der Innenseite des hinteren Objektivdeckels wiederfanden. Dann lockerte sich noch der Fokussierring. Keine Gewährleistung nach 25 Monaten. Pergear Deutschland bietet nicht einmal kostenpflichtigen Service an. Bei einem manuellen Objektiv, sollte der Austausch des Bajonett-Elements eigentlich kein Problem sein.)An einem sonnigen Frühlingstag habe ich die Linse gefordert. Reichlich chromatische Aberration (Zweige vor strahlendem Himmel) stören mich wenig, weil sie in der Nachbearbeitung leicht zu entfernen sind. Positiv überrascht hat mich die gestochene Schärfe, auch im Detail. Bei einer Blendeneinstellung zwischen 5.6 und 8 erfreuliche Tiefenschärfe. Am meisten begeistert hat mich die gemäßigte Verzerrung, wenn man durch entsprechende Kamerahaltung stürzende Linien vermeiden will, gelingt das ohne weiteres. Ein Nebenprodukt waren die 10-strahligen Sonnensterne, die mir das Objektiv schenkt: Unzählige Sternchen bei Lichreflexen auf gekräuselter Wasseroberfläche und durch Astwerk blitzende Sonnenstrahlen. Bei Extremkontrasten wie an diesem sonnigen Tag ergibt sich allerdings der Verdacht auf eine Verfärbung in Richtung Magenta. Diese Neigung werde ich weiter beobachten. - Fazit: Ein sensationell preiswertes Objektiv mit brillanter Schärfeleistung, schönem 10-strahligen Sonnenstern, verschmerzbarer chromatischer Aberration, und für ein Super-Weitwinkel sehr gebändigtem geomet...
